As a 24/7 professor, I see daily how our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu programs in San Clemente empowers ALL our students, with no exception. Some of our martial artists improve tremendously their confidence, others become kind, others are on the best shape of their lives… And the list of benefits goes on and on.
But what I want to share with you today is also very powerful. This video above shows that a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner not only benefits himself or herself from training. On our mats we teach about friendship, about be respectful, kind to anyone. In other words, every one of our students knows that we are responsible for the person on our side.
The reality shown on this video proves that our Martial Art EMPOWERS ANYONE – no matter how old, or big, or strong, or what gender the person is. And even if they just have 2 months of training, after every class when they live the mat, they already became a better person.
See you on the mat,
Sensei Paulo Guillobel
Thank you for a great class today. Thanks to Andre for bullying me around and showing me the small details to help me improve. I’ve really enjoyed the quality of instruction at your academy. I look forward to many good years of training with you.
I have a scheduling conflict next Saturday during the tournament at Pedro’s dojo. My wife and I are attending an anniversary party on a yacht in Newport Beach that day. I thought it was for Sep. 18th, but it’s actually next week – 9/11 same day as the tournament. Sorry I have to miss this one. I will get the next one for sure.
Glad to be a part of the team. Thanks again,
Tom
Tom, you are fast!
So far, you’ll sprin the wheel the end of the month… Let’s see if we get some competition if we receive more comments.
Thank you for following up with us. And as Paulo said there is many tournaments to come.
Have fun with your wife next Saturday. But until then, have a great holiday!
Cata, Paulo and Andre
I can’t wait to show my kids this video. No, I don’t want them out rounding up the neighborhood dogs to test their BJJ skills, but the story is very inspiring.
That kids parents should really think twice next time they try and send him to his room!
